Insulation Under Ground Floor Joists

Our house ground is of the suspended wooden joists type with a gap to the foundation floor. This can get quite cold and draghty during winter and I wanted to find out the best way to insulate this. We're renovating the whole house so can install insulation before the subfloor and wooden flooring goes down.

Something like Kingspan friction fitted or even better supported on battens between the joists directly under the floor boards, something like 70mm, exact thickness depends on floor area/perimeter and what U value you're trying to achieve.
