Hi

I am looking at putting Amtico Spacia into my kitchen, concrete sub floor. We have Amtico in other rooms downstairs and it can be cold in winter.

For the kitchen I would like to add insulation boards and underfloor heating below the Amtico.

What would the order be, insulation mats > heating mats > screed > Amtico ?

Can anyone recommend insulation elec underfloor heating that is suitable with Amtico - I understand underfloor heating has to remain below 27 degrees for Amtico.

Thank you.

You need to use Hi-Temp adhesive certainly. The type of underfloor heating and the layers you use/it requires will be down to the system. In my experience, customer reflect that electric UFH is expensive to run and suffers from cold spots more than wet systems, however, they don't heat to the same type of temperatures either.
