We're building an extension and are pondering insulation in the floor.
One of neighbours commented that in there extension the builder installed the base, DPC membrane, then concrete (including rebar) and then some "pink stuff" with fibres in it as insulation. This "pink stuff" looks like a bit like sand & cement and was delivered by lorry & pumped in...
Any ideas what this pink stuff is ? Is it insulation ?
