I have purchased an Integrated F/Freezer (Zi918/12KA) and have ordered an appropriate carcass.

The F/freezer manual says "Fit the appliance in the niche by making sure that it stands against the interior surface of the unit on the side where the door hinges of the appliance are fitted."

However, what hinges do I use to mount my wwoden doors onto the carcass? Will standard the carcass hinges not impede the Integrated F/Freezer doors from opening / stop the F/freezer from sitting flush with the interior surface of the carcass??

Any advice appreciated.
Thanks,

Rich

Nope. The appliance only comes with plastic "runners" so that opening the outer wooden door also opens the inner fridge/freezer door.

And the appliance manual has no mention.I think they abdicate responsibility to the carcass!

Thanks.

OK< I'm a bit puzzled. I assume that if they supply runners, then they expect you to afix the door to the carcase with the usual hinges and also afix the door to the F/F via the runners. If that IS the case, then they must have allowed sufficient room between the door and the F/F in the design of the runners.

Confused? you will be...

Thanks for that Woody.

Sorted now. I was concerned that there wasn't enough width to squeeze the F/F and have space for conventional hinges. Assumed there were some special (low profile) hinges for this type of job.

However, I think I am going to squeeze the F/F and hinge into the gap with a mm to spare.

Thanks,
Rich
