just got a new hobby.will do a short list of my previous. 
1.mountain biking.
for. riding up mountains
against. sore arse.nutty car drivers.
2.sony aibo
for.super cool robot dog.
against.very very expensive.dog was a puppy & had to trained,took up to much time.
3.home cinema.
for.awesome sound (dts + 400 watt subwoofer) BIG pictures
against.plaster fell off wall,neighbours did'nt like it.
4.metal detecting.
for.finding metal things/objects
against.weird people do it.
5.n-guage model railways.
for.really small & detailed,when finally finished good talking point as it was mounted in a glass coffee table.
against.weird train spotter people @ model fairs.
6. r/c model monster trucks
for.massive truck.7" wheels,8 fluid filled shocks,2.5hp nitro engine,4wd,reverse,2 speed gearbox,carbon fibre disc brakes,can out accelerate any normal car.power to weight ratio is awesome.
against.££££££££,charging all the batteries,stripping it down & rebuilding diffs + breaking in engine & tuning it.
thats about it for now as i can't think of anything interesting to amuse me.
any ideas?
