Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I appear to have a damp problem on one of my interior walls at home that surrounds an old chimny breast. The paint work has a salty effect which rubs off, bringing with it some of the plaster.
I have researched a few solutions online but it seems not all are what they're cracked up to be.
Are there any solutions to the problem that don't require extensive building work? I have tennents in the property and don't want to cause too much hassle.
