My system is as follow.
1. Potterton profile boiler
2. Indirect cylinder
3.Honeywell cylinder stat
4.honeywell 3 port valve V4073A1039
5.F&E Tank.
A.For the last few weeks intermittently in the mornings when hot water tap
is opened i would get scalding hot water and air for few minutes and then
all is ok.Where would the fault be . (a) indirect cylinder (b) 3 port valve which was replaced last year. Cylinder stat is clicking ok
B. In summer when only hot water is demanded couple of radiators upstairs get warm. IF i replaced 3port valve with 2x two port will this cure the problem. Any other benefit if i did this.
