Any Heating Engineers on here ? Hello over the last month my boiler has not been working as it should, its never let me down
before to cut a long story short, I came down the other weekend and it was freezing ive got breakdown cover and called them out twice now in the last few weeks, this time of year we just keep the heating on and turn the stat up or down as we require it, with hot water programmed for twice a day.
Whilst waiting nearly 4 days for engineer to show up, I thought id make his life easier by removing kitchen cabinet and case of the front of the boiler as I did this I bumped the case and hey presto the boiler ignited and I had both heating and hot water, the engineer came out and I explained what had happened he looked at it couldn't see a problem, but since then same thing has happened this time im having to bang the boiler case every hour or less.
The last repair many said PCB maybe dry ?
Any ideas what this else this could be as ive nt heard back from service department or engineer in a week thanks in advance
