I have a Vokera Linea Max combi boiler that was installed about three or four years ago.
When a hot water tap is turned on the water comes out alternately very hot for about 15 to 20 seconds followed by completely cold for about the same time - this results in having to take a tepid bath or shower. The central heating appears to be working as normal though it is difficult to be sure because the present mild weather means that the system does not have to supply much heat.
I see that there is a thermistor (Part No R100030) on one of the pipes connected to the Domestic Heat Exchanger. Could the fault be due to the thermistor being faulty or is it likely to be something else?
