intermittent shower fault on mira shower

I fitted a mira azora shower less than a year ago and it has now developed a fault. Sometimes it only delivers cold water but "fiddling" with the controls can coax it to work.( Though whether it is the fiddling or the time passing that gives the result, I don't know)
Does this symptom indicate a likely culprit for the faulty component??

First thing to do is Isolate electrcis, prove dead by use of an approved voltage tester (not a neon screwdriver or volt stick), then check all wires are terminated correctly and nothing loose or broken.

If you have a mulit-meter you could check for continuity of the microswitch or/and heater tank, they may need to be replaced.

If it is less than a year old, I assume it is still under warranty.
If so I would be calling engineer or replacing, dependant on the T&Cs
