I'm carrying out some internal wall insulation with insulated plasterboard. I know that I have to insulate the region below the floor to prevent cold bridging. However the floor's 2" timbers are only about 2cm from the wall. Would it be sufficient to inject expanding foam into that area or do I need to add insulation beyond the floor timber? The latter is a bit undesirable as I'll have to lift the entire floor, but if its necessary then that is what I'll have to do. Thanks.
