Hi
Planning io insulating the internal walls of the house, however struggling to come up with an effective plan for the window reveals. I only have about 25-30mm of space (depth), before overlapping the window frame.

Any thoughts on effective insulation at this depth? One option I'm considering is 20mm woodfibre boards, then 5-10mm of plaster on top, but my plastering skills aren't great and that seems too thin amount for wood fibre boards?

Thanks,

I'm not convinced, isn't a lot of heat lost through the reveals? Plus if I'm insulating the walls it could cause cold spots on areas such as this?

22mm insulated plasterboard is an option

A big disc grinder. Cut the reveals back by 20mm (or more if you are confident of the lintel length), thus giving extra space for insulation.

At the top best you can do is take the plaster off to gain a few mm
