there is uproar in south lakeland because our top brest surgeon got £290k wage last year, wage was made up of £120k salary, £40k for been on call ,£40k in overtime +, £90k in a bonus award, but when you see what dipstick sports people, pop & micky mouse star's get ,is it fair

More than fair, just a shame nurses and doctors etc don't get paid more than they do

Surprised to see such large overtime and 'on-call' payments.
Midwives and nurses would be lucky to receive such a large proportion of their basic pay for extras... nothing like 33% of base for on-call duty. They will be lucky if they actually have paid overtime - more like single time off in lieu . . . If they can get that even.
