I'm beginning to like the online method of teaching. Granted it requires far more effort, but I can easily choose when to prepare the material for delivery.
In fact, even the delivery is not restricted to specific time slots.
It probably requires more involvement of the parents also.

Interesting thing about newspapers and some other sources. Politically bent one way or the other. They need readership so produce stuff bent in a fashion to suite how their readership would like view things rather than fact. The more extreme the view is from their point of view the better as it gives people something to get excited about.

It all used to be aimed at selling newspapers. Politics is an ideal subject as are page 3 boobs etc. Now it's used all over to some extent some worse than others.

LOL It would be interesting to see what would happen if they all produced flat factual news. It's pretty obvious why there will always be some degree of flannel and in some cases all will be total flannel.

Some people don't even have a clue how parliament works. Currently left looking for someone to blame. Stupid comment. Could and has been the opposite way round. That's the entire idea of having elected members of this and that in the house in the first place. Blame is the wrong way of looking at it. Actually the opposition is doing it's job pretty well at the moment. Everyone is well aware of the problems with cv19 handling. No point in trying to hide them.

Teachers. A cabinet member stands up and states all has been agreed with all concerned. Hours later it's clear that it hasn't been agreed at all even with parents. Then the solution they have proposed. Kids have missed a lot of education - will what looks likely to be 5 weeks now make up for that ? A levels etc. Predictions don't match actual results when exams are taken. The 5 weeks simplifies the books - they have completed this term. The alternative would be to freeze things and people leave school n months older than they usually do. Some would start school n months later. LOL a bit messy. Scary thought - has cv19 gone, will it ever go? What will happen next year or even sooner?
