Hello,

We desperately need our CWI removed (water drips down the walls it is so bad) and have had a few quotes around the £1800 mark. Tried going through CIGA as it should never have been installed in this property, on the side of a mountain with very porous bricks, to no avail.

Next door have had theirs removed and their walls are full of filled in holes, 1 hole ruining 3 bricks each, it looks awful. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove it without ruining the look of the wall, e.g maybe take bricks out instead of drilling holes or at the very least drill the holes in the centre of one brick so only one brick per hole needs replacing instead of three (which would basically be rebuilding the whole wall).

Cheers
