Hi All

Hope you guys can help me out here. I am plumbing in central heating at the moment and have come across a small problem. I want to install the pipes below the subfloor but in a number of locations there is cable in PVC conduit going across where I want to place the pipes.

There is only a 40mm gap under the subfloor meaning the central heating pipes will be resting right on top of the conduit!!!

Is this safe?

If not what can I do to reduce the risk etc?

Thanks

I would suggest a heatproof barrier between the two, superlux or similar.

Hi Gasman1015

Thanks for the advice. How thick is the material?

Can you give me a web address for info?

Many Thanks
