is there an acceptable amount of breakages

hi,
my roof tiles arrived the other day and there are a huge amount broken,
redland mini stonewold,
got 600 and it looks like way over 10% are broken,
is there an acceptable level???

If you ordered and paid fo 600 then you should get 600 undamaged.
breakages should be compensated for.

Count up carefully total good and claim the difference

We always price for 2.5% waste.
If they are delivered on shrink wrapped pallets, hiab unload, we sign the delivery receipt, received but not checked.
If we are short at the death, then we claim.

Ditto to Oldun, we allow 2.5% too (though there was a point with Mini Stonewolds we were allowing 4%)

allowing extra to finish the job is fine... but say you need 580 to do the job and order 600.. you should get 600 undamaged tiles not 585 ..the allowance for damage during delivery should be made by suppliers..well mine do...
