had this fitted about 8 years ago, until last xmas no problems but seems to be a steady flow now.
the diverter valve is leaking from both ends, resulting in pressure dropping from 1.5 bar to 0.8 bar every day, can actually see the dripping.
have seen the part on line at about £55, however is it a big job to replace the diverter valve? looks a bit hard to access, or can it be repaired? seals etc?
any advice would be great, have had someone to look at it and he says it all has to be replaced, full drain down and will be a full days work?

You have chosen someone who comes to you free and gives you an inflated price to fix it.

I always charge everyone a diagnostic fee !

If your boiler was on a flat wall with 500mm either side then I could complete the repair and the total cost to repair would be just £136 ! I carry the parts with me as its so common because the water is not cleaned when cheap boilers are fitted.
