Looking for a smarter way to manage your heating this winter? We’ve been testing the new Aqara Radiator Thermostat W600 to see how quiet, accurate and easy it is to use around the home. Click here read our review.
On the highest scale of my test meter, 2000k ohms the valve coils read approx. 5 ohms. You will need to disconnect the wiring to the valves to access the terminals.
Thanks Assuhors, ive set mine to 2M ohms and each valve reading according to the meter (attached) is .003? If i set the meter to 200k ohms i get 3.8 from one valve and 3.7/3.8 from the other?
HB I also looked at the pressure switch inside and saw some tiny water droplets on the diaphragm where the tube connects to it and i realised i probably didnt blow through the rubber tube after flushing it so i did that and reconnected the pressure valve and tube and now the machine doesnt trip the fusebox when trying a wash cycle. Still the same original problem though where the wash cycle goes to zero (and drains the water) part way through initial filling.

Fyi for anyone else reading this later on, heres the issue and what i tried but didnt work: normally when a wash cycle is started the machine fills for 40-60 seconds or so then pauses filling for a split second or two before continuing and continuing with the wash/rinse/condition cycle all fine and dandy when the machine was not gaving issues. The issue in this case is the machine fills for the usual 40-60 seconds or so, pauses for a split second or two then continues to fill for 1 or two seconds but then immediatley stops filling and drains the water and the timer goes to zero (cycle end) and the door unlocks.
What i tried:
-Checked pressure switch but not really sure if its ok or not but it does click when blowing into the pipe, made sure the tube had no blocks
-Ensured the filter and all that area is free from blocks
-checked drain pump parh for blockage or obstructions
-fitted a new drain pump (i already had it sitting spare)
-replaced the facia pcb
-replaced the 2nd pcb inside the machine under the lid
-checked water valve solenoids based on advice here
All appears fine but the machine still goes to drain and ends cycle as described.
Finally giving up on this one as the wifes getting annoyed.
Good luck (and well done if you still have one of these models!) if you have a similar problem and are looking for what to try.
Keep fixing ya stuff!!
