Has anyone noticed the remarkable resemblance between John Prescott, the mildly disgraced former Deputy Prime Minister, and Vito Spatefore, the fictional character brilliantly portrayed by the actor Joe Gannascoli on The Sopranos?

It's called 'Bulimia by proxy' - he makes everyone else sick.

John Prescott didn't have the proper full version of bulimia. I don't doubt that he stuffed his face, he just forgot about the throwing up bit!

I feel sorry for Vito, looking like old 2 Jags.

Still, there's one consolation. If an oaf like Prescott can become successful, there's hope for us all!
