I have been stripping the paper off the bedroom ceilings today but upon doing this there seems to be a gap between the ceiling and walls all over the room. I was wondering what I use to fill this. Do I use caulk/ filler or does it need plastering? I don't want to cover it up with coving either ;)

Filler should do most of that, and then rubbed down, for the deeper ones you could use Decorators Caulk , let it go off as a backing and then fill.

(or roll up page 3 of the "Sun", wedge it in the cracks and fill over the top ;) )

As suggested filler should do the job, fill the deeper ones in two stages if need be. The smaller cracks will need opening up a little before filling then rub down then fill again if needed.

If the problem reoccurs then tape and fill will be an option
