Hi all

I am about to install 125mm rigid white PVC ducting in my kitchen for a new cooker hood.

What should I use to seal the various joins in the ducting? In total, I will be joining a piece of ducting to the cooker hood, a 90 degree elbow, a straight connector and finally the vent spigot.

If it helps, I purchased the ducting here: http://www.bes.co.uk/products/180.asp

Also, does anyone know where I can buy clips to hold the ducting in place? Otherwise, I will probably have to box the ducting in.

Thanks in advance.

You don't usually have to seal the joints as there should be no restriction to the airflow. If you really feel you must then personally I would use white silicon. As for fixing ,what is wrong with the clips they show on your link?
