getting back to the bare plaster. Old dry original
Some has been painted but the paint seems to be able to be lifted off in strips, not larger than a postcard, often smaller.
I assume that this was due to either the lack of a mist coat or incorrect paint.
The paint must be at least 30 years old
What grade is best to sand back bare plaster for paint?
