Kitchen refurbishment on a budget

I went through a similar exercise last year. After loads of research, I found that if you want a thicker carcass ( 12,15,16 &18 mm) then the best by miles was actually Toolstation ! And I’ve fitted a few Howdens kitchens.
So I bought a load of TS gear ( soft closers as standard) and combined with ‘Worktops direct’ ( cut to size and free delivery to Scotland) and got a great end result.

Doors from the new supplier won’t fit the existing carcasses. The hinge spaces are the issue.

easy enough to alter, just mark the centres of the hinges onto the carcase then the holes are pretty much always 16mm either side of the centre and 37mm back from the face of the carcase
