Hiya all

I have just moved into a new flat and the GF wants to tile the Kitchen splashback. I tiled my bathroom and kitchen in my last flat and it looked ok. However I was winging it :). I got a video from Topps showing how it was done, they tiled a bathroom in the video. They used an edging mount for around the bath, window etc(I didnt know these existed !).

My area to be tiled is approx 2.5m x 0.5m. I have a load of brick type tile and have all the kit/tools etc.

My questions:

1. Where do I start? Middle or one end?

2. Do I need this edging or can I just take a line from just above the worktop and work up cutting the tiles where they meet the kitchen cupboards.

Thanks in advance.
