Hi,
The kitchen taps are getting super stiff and dripping, so we are looking to replace them. There is a separate tap for hot and cold, so not a mixer tap.
I had a look under the sink and the set up looks pretty odd. It is a copper pipe, connecting to a push fit flexible host, which is then connected to another piece of copper pipe that is connected to the taps.
Is this normal? I am guessing it is a bit of a hack job, but wanted to confirm.
I am wondering whether I can get a new push fit connector that has a tap fitting, then get rid of the current push fit connector and second bits of copper pipe. This should be ok to do, right?
Got some photos attached.
TIA
