Hi, in my kitchen i have a laminate floor. my o/h wants me to partition off one end of this kitchen with a stud wall to make a utility room but does not want the laminate floor in what will be the new section. my question is what is the best or recommended way to cut the laminate in situ? i.e. while it is still down. need some ideas chaps.

Best with a circular saw and set the blade depth to the same thickness as the laminate so no damage is caused below it

stephen, thanks for that. how would i finish off cutting it at either side when i reach the walls?
