Laminate flooring: scratch repairs?

Any ways to get scratches out of cheapo laminate flooring?

I was vacuum cleaning the floor after doing some DIY work. A piece of grit must have got stuck under the vacuum wheels -- resulting in a long wavy scratch on the laminate floooring.

Most sheds sell coloured wax sticks for such light repairs. The wax is rubbed into the scrath to make it less noticable.

Or maybe I could rub a bit of shoe polish in to the crack to get the same effect.
