Hi,

I'm planning to re-landscape our garden, and have drawn a basic design by hand. However I'd like to put it in in some 3D/CAD software, so we can visualise it a bit better.

Does anyone know of any good Landscaping/CAD software? Some freeware would be great if possible. Googling I see there is SketchUp (which I think is from Google), which is free for the base product. Anyone know if this is any good/how easy to use? I also found SmartDraw CI when googling, which said it was a free download. So I downloaded & installed, but it appears to be a trial (bad advertising it as 'Free to download' without mentioning it's a trial). Also, I'm not sure if you can 'walk' around the designs in SmartDraw, or if it's just a top down view designer.

Any suggestions greatly received!

Ben
