Hi,now the weather's improved I'm going to carry on building the brick walls up on my jerry-built diy garage extension.

I have 2 bags of cement from last year which I've kept dry indoors sealed up in garbage sacks,it looks ok with no lumps.

Is my old cement going to be ok,or should I just get some fresh cement?

If there are no lumps that cannot easily be broken up between the fingers, it's OK to use

It will still work if it hasnt got lumps in it, but be aware that after the use by date (on the bag), it may have raised levels of chromium six, which can increase risk of dermatitis

Just wear gloves and wash off any spills on the skin and change out of your jeans if they get impregnated with cement paste/concrete
