Hi.
I want to turn a pathway that is just earth into a concrete pathway. I have found a few companies that will deliver ready mixed concrete but I'm not sure if it needs any solid substrate between the earth & the concrete. All I have to do is dig the earth out enough for a few inches of concrete (2 or 3 inches?), if it needs a substrate then...
1: What's best to use?
2: How deep?
The path is between to concreted gardens so I can use then as a level,it's only 24ft long x 3ft wide.

Thanks
