laying carpet tiles in a kitchen on tempory basis

hi

i have just ripped up the lino in my kitchen and would like to put down some Miliken carpet tiles. do i need to lay them on anything or will they be ok straight ontl the floor??

do i need to stick them down with anything cos i want to remove them at a later date.
