Need something for between carpet and floor tiles

Hi,

I recently finished tiling my bathroom floor, and need one of those aluminium strip thingys (No, I don't know what they are called !!) to go between the carpet in the upstairs landing and the new tiled floor in the bathroom.

I've been looking for ages, but can't find anything suitable, the main problem is that I had to fit the tiles on top of 6mm ply which I layed over the existing floorboards, so the tiles are actually about 10mm higher than the carpet level... The closest thing I've found is the strip that is used for carpet/lino... Does anyone have any any ideas ?

i personaly would fit one of these threshhold strips

i use them for covering the gap between laminate floors
and the edge between laminate floor and carpet or lino[10mm step]
as long as your tiles are in a strait line you just butt up the ridge
underneath onto the tiles
