Lead content in Brass ??

Hi all I have a little DIY project underway where I have to attach a copper pipe to a stainless tank, using a tank connector. Solvents will flow in the system and there must be no possibility of lead contamination, would this be a danger with a brass connector or do I have to go stainless (42mm so very expensive )

Probable some zinc in the fitting but that's all.

Lead is sometimes added to brass to enable easier machining.
It is more susceptible to leaching out than either copper or zinc, the 2 main constituants of brass.

Check with one of the major British manufacturers, Pegler Yorkshire or Conex, what they put in their brass.
