Hello - some help would be very welcome . Noticed the windows leaking in all rooms since we moved in. New windows installed in 2016 (no warranty or fensa) . Heavy rain does it but most times little pools below glass or on frame. No misting or condensation ever. Not happening on the windows that open . Photos attached. Can see some cracks in paint at various places …. Any views welcome and appreciated

They are badly made windows - and judging by the rounded corners, not made by a company with the machinery to scribe the joints properly.

It’s obvious from the sash joint that water is getting into the sash externally, filling up the bottom rebate until wind and capillary action drives the water up over the rebate and through the joint.

My guess is the sashes are not drained and vented, also the external beading is not sealed correctly.

given the the double glazing is always sitting in water, I’d say the units will break down and start misting up, if they haven’t already.

Some external shots would be helpful - one of the whole window and a close up of the bottom and side glazing beads.

I used to run a joinery company so have some experience of casement window design.

Thanks , very helpful . I attach some more photos and will get closer up in the outside later . I don’t get how the water is getting in below the glass ‘pocket’ , the weep holes are blocked , there are cracks below the frame … will post more photos later … the outside shots here are downstairs how can I
Fix … repair window seals , caulking ? will need a professional ?
