Leaking monobloc kitchen tap

My fairly new kitchen tap drips (very slowly) from the spout. Plumber thinks its a disc in the actual handle that needs replacing - could this be so and can these be bought at a diy store.

If you don't think this is the problem please advise!

What kind of plumber have you asked who merely "thinks" that it's a valve?

How can it be anything else?!
