I don't see the point in making it look shiny. Also, that would be ever so close to being fraudulent.ollski said:
I even show the customer the new part that I didn't fit (but did have to buy), so that they can see I haven't created unnecessary work.
I also offer them the scrap brass, so that they know that the reason for not fitting it isn't that I want to sell it.
