Hi All,

Can anyone help, I have found a leak in my radiator this morning and there appears to be what I can only describe as a blister on the front corner?

There is a small hole where the blister is and a hissing noise can be heard, there is water dripping from the hole and a couple of small rust spots from where the water has dripped.

I have turned the radiator off and am waiting for the boiler cover to call me with an appointment, in the meantime is anyone able to tell me what the problem may be? Is turning the radiator off enough action until a contractor arrives?

Thanks...

Kelly

the radiator has rusted from the inside out.
isolate the two rad valves, providing they shut fully just place a tray under the drip till they come.

Not many "boiler covers" will cover a leaking rad!

They are usually excluded as caused by corrosion/dirt in the system.
