Leaking Valve

Dear All

I have heating system which is pressurized system with Heat Only boiler - in the upstairs airing cupboard there is now a 18l pressure vessel and on the pipe run to this there us a automatic air vent.

This valve is the highest part of the system and often gives a little squirt out of air.

The problem is it starting to every now and again spit out some water as well as air.

I guess I need to change the air vent but this one is only a few months old - is there a better valve to go for?

Is it possible to screw the cap down on the aav?

You can change it with a new one.

I guess it must be faulty or dirty water and clogging up inside. Maybe you could clean up, overhaul it.
