Air vent purging

Last year I pressurised my open vent system.

In my airing cupboard (highest part of the system) I now have a pressure vessel and just above that I have an automatic air vent.

Now every time the pump stops this vent lets out a purge of air which is quite loud.

Is this ok? Does it need to do this or can I shut the air vent cap?
