Following our boiler replacement everything is working fine. But the radiator in the back bedroom (nearest the pump and the highest in the house) needs bleeding about once a week - quite a lot of air in there. What can I do to stop this? It's obviously sucking air in from somewhere.
It's an open-vented system (Baxi condensing boiler) with the usual arrangement of expansion tank in the loft with open vent over it, plus pump etc. in the airing cupboard underneath.

It may well be disolved oxygen in the water or hydrogen gas forming rather than sucking in air although that is still a possibility.Either way you should get you installer back to check this out.

Thanks chaps. I've turned the pump down from the highest to the middle setting. If that doesn't work I'll get the installers back. What could be done if it is dissolved gases in the system - what's the cause? Fingers crossed in the meantime!
