check temp at outlet, cold at inlet, 2nd return if fitted, drain and flush EV, check that EV is rigid piped, check immersion heater draws current, depending where installed, fully drain, flush chlorinate, open any drain cocks, and clean any strainers in control group or fitted on cold inlet.
