Leslie Ash has received 5 million quid from the NHS after allegedly falling out of bed and cracking a couple of ribs and then contracting MRSA.
I seem to recall that hubbie and ex footy star Lee Chapman was with her at the time.:roll:

The Porton Down veterans, who were knowingly dosed with nerve gas in the early 60s, will get £8,000 each.

Where is the justice?

Allegedly. You can beat me up for 5k - never mind 5 million.
 
Apparantley she injured herself during a 'sex session'.

The money she was awarded was based on loss of past and future earnings.

She was hardly a main character in MBB and if mersey beat hadnt been cancelled by the BBC she would have quit anyway because she was just a laughing stock.

I very much doubt she would have ever earned even 1% of 5M had she still been acting.

Why didn't the health authority fight it?
 
Apparantley its difficult to gain enough evidence to prove the hospital is at fault and is to blame.

She obviously had enough and the payout of that ammount was purely because she was a "highly paid star".

The general public wont get anywhere near this should they be succesfull. Even if its fatal.
 
cant even get that right its £500,000 or, er 1/2 a million in a out of court settlement














be a familiar feeling for some on here that - settling " out of court.."
 
Shame she didnt land on her lips...they would have saved her.
