Levelling a shower tray ....

Hi there, hope someone can help me here. How do you normally level a shower tray which doesn't have a leg set? It's quite a heavy thing.

is it raised on a ply baseboard or sitting on the floor ?

by having the ply board level and what your using to set the tray down

you don'y useally tile under a shower tray.

if the floor is not quite level can you set the tray on a mortar bed and level it in the mortar
