Hi there,

I have a concrete floor which previously had tiles but they have now been ripped up, so the floor needs leveling before the new flooring.

I plan to lay an engineered wood and as the existing floor is nearly 100 years old I would like to lay a liquid Damp Proof Membrane/paint before laying the floor.

Does anybody know of product whichs does 2 in 1? - Latex Self Levelling compound which incorporates a Damp Proof Membrane?

Thanks,
Derek

There isn't one for that type of floor.
You need to grind it smooth then apply a coat or 2 coats of Ardex DPM1c

Uzin do a screed with DPM but it's only for new concrete floors not old ones.
