Water circulation not working ( spray of water comes from top of door rubber on to washing load, does any one know if this is run by a pump if so what is the pump called ). many thanks

Not too familiar with LG but most other makes have a separate recirculation pump fitted. It has about the same physical size & appearance as a drain pump but the impellor on a recirculation pump is is much smaller. It doesn't have to be a faulty pump at all, the small bore hose leading up to the door bellow often gets clogged. Try blowing it out before rushing out to buy spares.
