Life without a mitre??

Hello everyone.

I've been doing some skirting board with a mitre saw and it looks pretty good. (First time I've used one) but now it's broke and I want to finish the job. I have one piece left to cut. Is there anyway of getting the 45 degree angle without it? I didn't know if there were any tricks of the trade.

You could put one of your existing cuts next to it and follow the angle from that
