Hi all, I'm doing some exploratory work around the bathroom in preparation of some other work and will at some point be replacing the flooring as parts have got soaked and disintegrated. I'm trying to get this particular piece up, but it appears that the remaining nails are under the wall cavity. Can someone please advise on how I am best to approach this removal?

You might have to destroy it out, maybe cut pieces out with a jigsaw after checking carefully underneath so you don't hit pipework. Or if it's really rotten it might pull apart. Chipboard in a bathroom! :-o

Covered in Plyboard I might add... The joys of buying a rented property I guess. There is a lot of wiring under there which is one of the other reasons I need access so I'll be sure to go carefully. I think I could avoid putting any blades in there as it is coming apart of its own accord as I jimmy it around.
