lightweight coving - bonding with caulk ok ?

I am sure someone on here bonded lightweight coving with decorators caulk. I tried a sample and it seemed ok to me - much easier than spreading coving adhesive. Any comments! Ta

If you mean the poystyrene type that has a grey paper covering then i have used caulk many times to bond this and then finshed the gaps with caulk as well.

Same here...or use waterbased gap grip.

If you use the solvent based adhesive it may melt the coving .

Yep and you wont be able to wipe off the access
