I recently fitted a second hand radiator I acquired a few years ago. It's all working fine but has a valve I don't really recognise. I see the built in drain cock but I'm not to sure about the lockshield part - I don't want to mess with it but presume it's fixed rather than adjustable, or is there something under that cap? It has a trv on the other end.

Yes, under the cap, valve adjustable with a hex key.
